Self-Care: Luxury or Necessity? 💕

Hey Reader,

Happy Tuesday! This week we are discussing self-care and reducing stress for parents. Self-Care isn't just a buzzword. A lot of parents I work with pour into everyone else's cup, but their own. Does this sound like you? If so, you're not alone!

But, is taking care of ourselves selfish? Aren't we supposed to prioritize our family's needs above anything else? The hard truth is, we need to put our oxygen mask on first, so to speak, before we can take care of others. I know it's a lot easier said than done, but it doesn't have to be. Even just a few minutes each day of listening to a 2 minute guided meditation, taking a walk, staying hydrated, to name a few can go a long way.

Think about how you want to show up and what you want to embody as a parent. And when you feel selfish, think about this quote, "The most important thing you can can do for your kids is to take care of yourself."

Looking for easy ways to practice self-care? Check out my latest blog, Self-Care: Luxury or Necessity?
